Fancy United and Team Liquid will clash on Wednesday in the first round of Group B in the AfreecaTV VALORANT LEAGUE. According to the offered Valorant betting odds, it should be a very one-sided game, and it’s tough to argue with that.
In November, Team Liquid announced three new signings: Georgio “Keiko” Sanassy, Enzo “Enzo” Mestari, and James “Mistic” Orfila. The trio helped Apeks place second in VCT 2023 Ascension EMEA, while Enzo and Mistic are former members of Fnatic, with whom they placed top six at VALORANT Champions 2022.
With no official games on record, it’s unclear how Team Liquid’s new project will work out. Yet Fancy United are hardly among the top teams in the Pacific region, and their fourth-place finish in the AfreecaTV VALORANT LEAGUE Showmatch last month only proves they aren’t ready to face a tier-one squad.

EDward Gaming looked very good during the 2023 Valorant esports season. Even though they had not won a single international event, EDG placed top six at VCT 2023 Masters Tokyo and VALORANT Champions 2023, proving that Chinese teams belong in the Valorant Champions Tour.
T1 have not accomplished nearly as much last season. Even though the Koreans performed well to finish third in the VCT 2023 Pacific League, they failed to make any noise at VCT 2023 Masters Tokyo (9th-10th) or VALORANT Champions 2023 (9th-12th).
T1 have made some roster changes since September, including the signing of Daniel “Rossy” Abedrabbo and Kevin “xccurate” Susanto. Unfortunately, these moves are unlikely to make T1 much stronger.
