Tuesday’s Football Bet of the Day sees me focus on the near full card in the EFL, and there is one side in particular who appeals to me to for goals.

Barnsley will look to keep on the hunt for the League One playoff places as they welcome mid-table Wycombe Wanderers to Oakwell tomorrow evening in a fixture that I’m keen to back the free-scoring hosts to score two or more goals.
Barnsley’s winless run in the league was extended to three matches at the weekend, as they conceded in the 88th minute to draw 2-2 away at the side directly below them in the table, Lincoln City. That draw did at least maintain Barnsley’s unbeaten record against teams below them in the table, with Neill Collins’ hosts having posted a record of W8-D4-L0 when taking on teams positioned in 9th and below.
Wycombe’s winless run in League One was extended to six matches at the weekend, as they fell to a 1-2 defeat at home to a Reading side that had previously failed to pick up a solitary point across their opening eight away league matches. Matt Bloomfield’s visitors have picked up half of their 22 points on their travels this term (W3-D2-L3), with that record changing to W0-D2-L3 when travelling to clubs currently inside the top 10.

Neill Collins’ hosts are the third-highest scorers in League One, slamming in 33 goals across their opening 17 matches, with 18 (55%) of them coming at home. The Tykes have found the back of the net in all bar one of their league encounters on home soil – scoring two or more in 5/8 (63%) of them, including in all four against sides below their 8th position in the table – and I’m backing them to bag another double against a Wycombe defence that has recorded a solitary clean sheet on their travels this season, shipping multiple goals in 5/8 (63%) of them, including in all five away to teams positioned inside the top-10 in the League One table.
