Oh My God are a stronger team than FunPlus Phoenix and have won twice as many games this split, but $1.12 is very short. The main reason is that OMG tend to play down to their opponents.
That was very noticeable at the start of this week when OMG dropped a map (1-2) against LGD Gaming, who are just as strong as FunPlus Phoenix. We must also address the elephant in the room, FPX’s upset win against Weibo Gaming (2-1) on Tuesday, but one good result doesn’t make FPX a good team.
Oh My God are stronger and should win, but they’re not a team anyone should bet on when priced as heavy favourites. Take FunPlus Phoenix to win at least one map.

LNG Esports are very high on the LPL power rankings, and rightly so. This is a very stacked roster capable of contesting the LPL crown, but it’s hard to justify the latest LoL betting odds.
LNG Esports have high brand-value players, which might explain why the market is so bullish on them; however, they’re not that much better than Team WE. The latter have looked surprisingly good over the first four weeks and are arguably the current third-best-performing team in the league.
Team WE did lose against OMG (1-2) and ThunderTalk Gaming (1-2) last week, but if we look past that, they’re in a good spot. One minor issue is that Team WE have yet to be properly tested, which might explain the offered betting odds, but based on what they’ve shown on the Summoner’s Rift so far, WE have yet to disappoint.
