Leviatan looked like one of the top teams in the VCT 2023 Americas League early into the regular season, but they’ve lost traction midway through and finished in fourth place with a 4-5 record. They ended the regular season with a 1-4 run, with just one win against KRU Esports (2-0) and losses against 100 Thieves (1-2), Evil Geniuses (1-2), Cloud9 (0-2), and LOUD (0-2).
Their next opponents, FURIA Esports, weren’t praised nearly as much as Leviatan, yet they still finished the year with the same 4-5 record.
