Europa League football is the target for Aston Villa after an excellent run of form has propelled them up the table and challenging for a top five spot.
Unai Emery’s side are 9/2 to finish in the top six but they’ve a tough looking end to the season, playing the teams in 4th (Man Utd), 5th (Spurs), 7th (Liverpool) and 8th (Brighton). Tonight it’s 9th placed Fulham who visit Villa Park.
They’re unbeaten in nine Premier League games, collecting 23 points out of a possible 27 and keeping six clean sheets and look good for the points this evening.
Douglas Luiz rescued a point at Brentford on a rare off-day under Emery so we should expect a bit of a response against Fulham who are still without top scorer Aleksandar Mitrovic.
Back-to-back wins against Leeds and Everton have got things back on track for the Cottagers but a trip to Villa Park is a much tougher proposition these days.
Villa are 3/4 for the win which would take to a season-high fifth in the table. The Villans have scored in all 19 Premier League fixtures under Unai Emery and are 4/5 to score two or more tonight.
Just one point separates Leeds United and Leicester City at the bottom end of the table where they’re just two points and one point from safety respectively.
Leicester ended a five match losing run with a draw at Brentford at the weekend but they’ve now gone 17 consecutive league matches without keeping a clean sheet and that run could continue tonight at Elland Road.
Leeds form has been pretty abysmal, shipping 23 goals in their last seven matches but they’ve scored in every one of those. Their 41 goals is the second best tally of those teams in the bottom half of the table – only better by… Leicester.
With that in mind goals looks the best play in Yorkshire. BTTS is a measly 8/13 and Over 2.5 Goals is slightly better at 8/11. Combining both pays 20/21.
