After losing their opening group stage series against Fnatic (1-2), Outsiders found success in the lower bracket, where they made it past Ninjas in Pyjamas (2-1), OG (2-0), and Complexity (2-1) to lock in a spot in the playoffs. Those are decent results on paper, but Outsiders needed overtime to make it past Complexity and were lucky enough to face OG and Ninjas in Pyjamas, who both had to play without key players.
Natus Vincere are in a similar position, as a team that has yet to show anything remarkable. They defeated the shaky Cloud9 (2-0), then took down Team Liquid (2-0), but got stomped by G2 Esports (8-16, 7-16) in Group A final.
Natus Vincere are priced too short for this contest. Their ceiling with Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyljev might be higher, but NaVi have been struggling over the last few months. This should be a very close affair that can go both ways, so we’ll gladly take Outsiders at plus money.

Team Vitality looked solid throughout the group stage, but they’ve only beaten Ninjas in Pyjamas (2-0) and Fnatic (2-1) before losing against Heroic (0-2) in the final. Team Liquid, on the other hand, won against IHC Esports (2-0), lost against NaVi (0-2), but then completed their run through the lower bracket with a phenomenal reverse sweep against FaZe Clan (2-1).
That reverse sweep raised Liquid’s stock price, which explains why they’re odds-on favourites to defeat Team Vitality on Friday. But that doesn’t change the fact that Team Vitality can match Liquid on the battlefield.
Mathieu “ZywOo” Herbaut is in superb form, averaging the tournament’s second-highest rating (1.34) over the seven maps, and we don’t see how Liquid will be able to respond. At $2.10 with Betway, we’ll gladly take Team Vitality to win.
