Monday’s Football Bet of the Day sees me head to the French third-tier and I like the look of goals at both ends between two attacking sides.
⚽️ Martigues vs US Concarneau
🇫🇷 Championnat National
⏰ Monday 12th December, 20:00
French third-tier table-toppers travel to the Stade Francis Turcan to take on fifth-placed Martigues in a match that looks good for goals at both ends.
Martigues are indeed the only team in Championnat National yet to fail to score this season, finding the back of the net in all 14 of their league outings. Grégory Poirier’s men are the third-highest scorers with 23, and they’ll be confident of increasing that tally and maintaining their record in scoring in every league game this season against a Concarneau that’s kept just four clean sheets this season and none in their previous five on their travels.
Stéphane Le Mignan visitors are the second-highest scorers in the division, bagging 27 goals across their opening 14 league fixtures this season. The current league leaders have scored in 12 of their last 13 league encounters – as well as in each of their opening six road trips – and they too should get on the scoresheet against a Martigues defence that’s registered just a solitary clean sheet in the league this season.
Bet of the Day
Both clubs enter this fixture in great form, with Martigues not tasting defeat since the opening day of the season, whilst Concarneau are unbeaten in each of their last 10 in the league – winning seven of those – so we should be in for an entertaining encounter.
Both teams to score has landed in 13/14 of Martigues league fixtures, and with the same landing in 9/14 of Concarneau’s, there’s a strong chance we’ll see the pair get on the scoresheet once again this evening.
- Both Teams to Score
- Pays 17/20 (William Hill)
