Valladolid v Villarreal
La Liga new boys Valladolid have a tough opening assignment against Champions League semi-finalists Villarreal.
The hosts bounced back to the top flight at the first time of asking, finish runners-up to Almeria, but start the new campaign without injured striker Shon Weissman, their top scorer last season with 20 goals.
Survival is the aim for Valladolid’s limited squad, while Villarreal look primed for a top-four push after their European exploits contributed to a disappointing seven-place finish last term.
Unai Emery has so far kept hold of his key men and the Yellow Submarine can make a winning start at 66-67 with SBK.
Go Ahead Eagles v PSV
After a thrilling extra-time home win over Monaco in midweek sent PSV through to a Champions League play-off with Rangers, they have Eredivisie business to take care of before Tuesday’s trip to Ibrox.
Ruud van Nistelrooy’s smooth start to management has already seen him scoop the Dutch Super Cup and lead his side to a 4-1 trouncing of Emmen in the league opener.
They can maintain momentum at Go Ahead, who were beaten 2-0 at AZ to make it six straight defeats including last season’s slump that saw them need a play-off to beat the drop. Go for PSV and over 1.5 goals at 5-8 with Ladbrokes.
AC Milan v Udinese
Having claimed their first title in 11 years, Milan kick off the defence of the trophy at the San Siro.
The Rossoneri had the joint meanest defence in Serie A last season and conceded just once in their final eight home matches.
That stingy backline will again be the cornerstone of their title tilt and they can edge out Udinese who have a new head coach in Adrea Sottil.
The last three meetings have ended in a 1-1 draw, but Milan and under 4.5 goals is the call here at 8-11 with Ladbrokes.
Euro Treble

- (9-2, Ladbrokes)
