The current LoL patch sees a shift towards early game again, mainly due to the added power to individual dragon buffs, which should benefit some teams more than others. However, Invictus Gaming will likely be unaffected by the changes as they’re a solid but not great early-game team with a 50% dragon control and 50% first blood rate.
Invictus Gaming enter the match on a three-game winning streak, with wins against Team WE (2-1), Ultra Prime (2-1), and Rare Atom (2-1), who IG beat on Tuesday to keep their playoff dreams alive. IG also need to win on Saturday, but that might be too much to ask.
Royal Never Give Up are 11-2 and on a seven-game winning streak which is seriously impressive, especially considering they’ve dropped just four maps over the seven series. They even defeated JD Gaming and EDward Gaming over that stretch, so beating Invictus Gaming should come easy.
That might be the case, but the kill line on this match (10.5) is a bit too high. As good as RNG can be, they average a 1.33 KD (14.7-11), and while they have smashed some lesser teams by well over 10 kills, Invictus Gaming are far more resilient than people give them credit for, especially on the blue side.

FunPlus Phoenix need this win badly if they wish to break into the top 10, but the same holds true for Weibo Gaming, who are still in the race for a second-round seeding. With a lot on the line, we can expect both sides to play at their best, but assuming that’ll happen, it’s easy to pick a side.
Weibo Gaming are much stronger but also one of the most unpredictable teams in the league, especially in games against weaker squads where they tend to play down or don’t take the games too seriously. Weibo can afford to do that and win games purely off the talent advantage, which also explains why they have a 57% map win rate.
FunPlus Phoenix have not shown enough over the last few weeks for us to believe they can defeat Weibo Gaming, but there’s a good chance they can steal one map.
