View our expert’s Goals Accumulator Tips & Predictions for Friday which features a both teams to score tip and three sides to Score 2+ goals.
Our Goals Acca Tips are based on statistical analysis of recent performances.
Drogheda United vs Sligo Rovers – Both Teams to Score
Drogheda will look to extend their unbeaten run to five matches, as they play host to Sligo Rovers at Head In The Game Park.
For the second successive match, Drogheda came from behind to secure a 1-1 last time out, whilst John Russell’s visitors secured a routine 3-0 win at home to Finn Harps to extend their unbeaten run to three matches.
Kevin Doherty’s hosts have scored in 12 of their last 14 league fixtures and will be confident of breaching a Sligo Rovers defence that’s conceded 12 times in their last seven matches on the road.
However, The Drogs have recorded just three clean sheets so far this season and I don’t see them shutting out a Sligo side that’s scored in each of their last eight matches on their travels.
Derry City to Score 2+
Two sides at opposite ends of the table but on a poor run of form meet in Dublin, as bottom side UCD play host to third-placed Derry City.
Derry City conceded in the final quarter to draw 1-1 at home to Drogheda last time out to extend their winless run to seven matches in the Irish Premier Division.
Andrew Myler’s side lost 2-1 away to St Patrick’s last time out meaning the newly-promoted side have won just one of their opening 19 league matches, collecting just nine points.
The Candystripes have found the back of the net in 17/20 of their league matches and given they’ve scored 11 goals in their two previous meetings with their upcoming opponents this season, I’m happy to back Ruaidhrí Higgins’s visitors to score another two goals against the division’s leakiest defence.
St Patrick’s Athletic to Score 2+
St Patrick’s will look to maintain their push for a top-three finish, as they travel to Finn Park to take on a struggling Finn Harps side.
Tim Clancy’s visitors bounced back from their 1-0 defeat away to in-form Dundalk, by defeating UCD 2-1 last time out to leave them just three points behind third-placed Derry City.
Finn Harps we’re convincingly beaten 3-0 by Sligo Rovers last time out meaning they’ve taken just one point from their last six matches and sit two points above bottom side UCD.
St Patrick’s have won both previous meetings with Finn Harps this season by a 2-0 scoreline and I’m happy to back them to score another two goals against their out-of-form visitors.
UTC to Score 2+
Two sides separated by just two places and three points in the Peruvian top-flight meet in
Cajamarca, as UTC play host to Carlos Mannucci at the Estadio Héroes de San Ramón.
UTC made it three wins from their last four matches, as they came from behind to win 1-2 away to ADT, whilst Enrique Maximiliano Meza’s visitors extended their unbeaten run to six with a 0-0 draw away to Alianza Atlético.
Carlos Mannucci have won just twice on their travels that season and that clean sheet last time out was their first on the road, with them having conceded 14 times in their previous eight away matches.
Franco Navarro’s hosts have found the back of the net 19 times in their opening eight home fixtures, scoring on multiple occasions in seven of those and there’s a good chance they’ll bag another brace on Friday evening.
