The 12-day international break drew a line in the sand on the 2021-22 season but it won’t be long until we’re doing it all again for the 2022-23 season.
In fact it’s just six days until the Champions League restarts in earnest with teams from Estonia, Iceland, Moldova and San Marino contesting the Preliminary Round Semi-Finals next week. It’s a long road to the Ataturk Stadium on June 10th 2023 for these guys!
Domestically, the key date to put in your diary is July 9th when the Scottish League Cup kicks-off with the first round of group matches. Until then it’s going to be a real test of our worldwide soccer knowledge with football from Scandanvia and the Americas filling up the calendar. There’s also Friday nights from the Irish League to look forward to, restarting this week.
Garbiel will be covering the MLS for us, starting in the early hours this morning with Seattle Sounders v Vancouver Whitecaps at 3.30am. Keep an eye out for his New England Revolution v Orlando City preview too, which kicks-off at midnight on Wednesday night.
