With one foot already firmly in the final of the Scottish League One promotion playoffs, Edinburgh City make the trip to Dumbarton for the second leg of their semi-final tie on Saturday.
Alan Maybury’s men claimed a dominant 4-1 win in the first leg at Ainslie Park on Tuesday night and are now on the verge of setting up a two-legged final with either Annan or Forfar.
As for Stevie Farrell’s side, it would be fair to say they have a mountain to climb if they are to avoid dropping into the fourth tier of Scottish football.
The Sons are short as 3/4 with most firms to win inside 90 minutes this weekend but I’ve identified a more appealing alternative whereby I’m happy to follow a familiar theme.

What’s more, despite crashing to a crushing 4-1 defeat in the first leg, Dumbarton still managed to deliver no fewer than seven corner kicks against the Citizens.
With all that in mind, I’m more than happy to side with 6+ Dumbarton corners on Saturday at 10/11 (Sky Bet) on an afternoon where the hosts will have to go hell for leather if they are to preserve their Scottish League One status.
