Augsburg v Hertha Berlin
A change of manager has done little to ease Hertha’s plight and they remain in the automatic relegation spots ahead of Saturday’s trip to Augsburg.
With Felix Magath now at the helm, Hertha were thumped 4-1 at home by Union Berlin in the derby last weekend and have lost seven of their last eight.
Augsburg aren’t safe either but have climbed to six points above the relegation play-off spot, having won three out of four before last week’s 1-0 loss to leaders Bayern Munich.
On home soil Augsburg have won back-to-back games and can make it three in a row at 15-16 with SBK against the second leakiest side in the division.
Fiorentina v Venezia
Fiorentina are looking to maintain momentum in their push for a European spot when they face relegation strugglers Venezia.
The Viola stunned Napoli 3-2 in Naples last time out and are within two points of the top six after a five-game unbeaten run.
Their home form is strong with just two points dropped in four matches and they should be too good for Venezia who have lost six in a row and failed to score in the last four. Back Fiorentina at 3-8 with SBK.
Lazio v Torino
Lazio occupy the final European spot in Serie A and can keep the chasing pack at bay for now by racking up a third straight win.
Maurizio Sarri’s men have recovered from a four-game winless run by winning four of their next five and can edge out a stuff Torino side.
The mid-table Turin outfit have just one win in 10 but have been hard to break down recenlty with three clean sheets in five. They will make it tough but Lazio can take the points at 4-6 with SBK.
