Day Three Results
St Patrick’s Day got off to a bad start for half the entries when Galopin Des Champs fell at the last when it looked like he had the race sewn up. Then, winners at 22/1 and 25/1 meant five points were hard to come by but Alves smashed it out the park, scoring 24 points with three winners and three second places – hope you had a few quid on Craig! Uktenpin extended his lead at the top of the overall leaderboard with another 13 point haul to take his tally to 50 points. That leaves him 11 points clear of his nearest challenger, ben, on 39 then bigbopper and Alves on 38. Still all to play for on the final day…
Day Four Entries
So, here we go with Day Four and if you didn’t enter oin previous days you can still get involved…
The competition is pretty straight-forward, we focus on the first 6 races each day at the Festival, you just need to predict who will win each of them. You’ll get 5 points if your horse wins, 3 points for second place and 1 point for third. The person with the most points each day will win a £25 free bet at The Pools. In the event of a draw, the person with the highest total SPs will win. If there’s still a tie we’ll pick a winner at random from the highest scorers.
How to enter the Cheltenham Tipster Competition
To enter the competition you need to list your six horse and quote the odds from The Pools‘ site in the comments section below. The competition starts with Tuesday’s card and what your entry should look like:
1.30 – My Horse (x/x The Pools)
2.10 – My Horse (x/x The Pools)
2.50 – My Horse (x/x The Pools)
3.30 – My Horse (x/x The Pools)
4.10 – My Horse (x/x The Pools)
4.50 – My Horse (x/x The Pools)
Collect the most points throughout the Festival and you’ll be crowned Champion Tipster.
