View our expert’s Goals Accumulator Tips & Predictions for Thursday which features three both teams to score tips and a side to score 2+ goals.
Our Goals Acca Tips are based on statistical analysis of recent performances.
Chelsea to Score 2+
Chelsea will look to consolidate their place in 3rd, as they travel to Carrow Road to take on relegation-threatened Norwich City.
Chelsea thumped Burnley 0-4 at the weekend to make it three wins in-a-row in the league for the world champions, whereas Norwich lost 1-3 at home to relegation-rivals Brentford, their fourth consecutive loss in the Premier League.
Thomas Tuchel’s men have the second-best away record in the Premier League, with them W9-D3-L2, with that record changing to W6-D1-L0 when away to bottom-half sides.
Only Leeds United have conceded more goals in the Premier League than Norwich City’s tally of 58 and there’s every chance they’ll concede at least twice against a side that humiliated them 7-0 in the reverse-fixture.
Southampton vs Newcastle United – Both Teams to Score
Newcastle will look to extend their unbeaten run to nine matches in the Premier League, as they travel to the South Coast to take on Southampton at St Mary’s.
Eddie Howe’s side overcame Brighton 2-1 at the weekend, meaning the Magpies have won five and drawn three of their last eight matches in the league, to take them seven points clear of the relegation zone.
Southampton too were on an impressive run in which they lost just one of their last 10 in the Premier League (W5-D4-L1), but Ralph Hasenhüttl’s were hammered 4-0 by Steven Gerrard’s Aston Villa on Saturday.
Given The Saints have scored in their last 10 at home and Newcastle have scored in each of their eight matches, there’s a good chance we’ll see goals at both ends at St Mary’s.
Atalanta vs Bayer Leverkusen – Both Teams to Score
Bayer Leverkusen travel to Bergamo to take on Atalanta in the first leg of their last 16 tie of the Europa League at the Gewiss Stadium.
Atalanta comfortably knocked out Greek champions Olympiakos 5-1 on aggregate in the previous round, whilst Gerardo Seoane’s side topped their Europa League group above both Real Betis and Celtic.
Gian Piero Gasperini’s side have found the back of the net in 17/19 of their home matches in all competitions this season, including in all three of their Champions League group-stage games.
Die Werkself banged in 14 goals in the group-stages of the Europa League and are joint-second highest scorers in the Bundesliga, therefore we should see both sides score in what should be an entertaining encounter.
Bodø/Glimt vs AZ Alkmaar – Both Teams to Score
Dutch side AZ Alkmaar travel to the Artic Circle to take on Norwegian champions Bodø/Glimt at the Aspmyra Stadion in the first leg of their last 16 Conference League tie.
Kjetil Knutsen’s side shocked many by knocking out Scottish side Celtic 5-1 on aggregate, whilst AZ topped their Conference group, finishing above Danish side Randers.
Bodø/Glimt won all three of their group-stage matches at home, as well as their return leg against Celtic, scoring on 12 occasions.
Pascal Jansen’s visitors scored in all six of their group-stage matches, as well as winning 11 of their last 12 Eredivisie matches and given Glimt’s impressive home record, there’s a good chance we’ll see these two attacking sides find the back of the net in Northern Norway.
