Liverpool will be looking to narrow the gap on champions Manchester City to just three points in the race for the Premier League title when the on-song Reds host West Ham on Saturday.
At the other end of the table Norwich welcome Brentford to Carrow Road with both teams desperate for the victory in their bid to survive relegation.
Rampant Reds Primed for Another Win
Liverpool are 2/7 shots to beat West Ham at Anfield and they deserve to be red-hot favourites after a fantastic run of ten wins in 11 matches, while the only one they didn’t win during that sequence was arguably the sweetest game of the lot, as it resulted in a penalty shootout success over Chelsea to lift the EFL Cup following a 0-0 draw at Wembley.
Jurgen Klopp’s men, who were remarkably spot-on with all 11 of their attempts during the cup final, will no doubt be full of confidence and should fancy their chances of piling the pressure on City.
The best bet could be to take Liverpool to score in both halves at 20/23.
They have done just that in eight of their last 13 Premier League games which is over 61 per cent – already offering value against the available odds – but take out the matches with fellow Champions League challengers Chelsea and City and that statistic rises to nearly 73 per cent (eight of 11).
Klopp was able to rest the likes of Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane, Luis Diaz, Andy Robertson, Joel Matip, Virgil van Dijk and Trent Alexander-Arnold for Wednesday’s comfortable 2-1 FA Cup success over Norwich, leaving them fresh for this assignment.
West Ham, who have conceded in both halves of their last five Anfield visits, fielded nearly a full-strength side at Southampton on Wednesday, but still exited the FA Cup and this is such a tough test just three days after that disappointment.
Saints to March on
Jesse Marsch makes his debut in the Leeds dugout against Leicester but it’s a tricky game to call as to how the squad reacts to the departure of club legend Marcelo Bielsa.
A better bet could come at Villa Park where Southampton are overpriced at 2/1 to see off Aston Villa.
Saints heavily rotated when seeing off West Ham in midweek and have now put together a run of four wins in five as well as a draw at Manchester United.
James Ward-Prowse is pulling the strings in midfield and Armando Broja, on loan from Chelsea, looks a superb signing.

Chelsea Can Dig in at Turf Moor
Few teams get it easy at Turf Moor and, while Chelsea can land the spoils, they may well need to dig deep to see off Burnley.
Only two goals have been scored in the first-half of the last six league games at Turf Moor and that could lead punters towards a bet on tie/Chelsea on the half-time full-time double result market at 5/2.
Chelsea have been level at the break in each of their last five Premier League wins and showed plenty of character to avoid a cup upset at the hands of Luton on Wednesday.
Romelu Lukaku’s goal will have done him the world of good and the Belgian also looked lively in the EFL Cup final defeat to Liverpool last week.
Elsewhere, the close odds fully highlight the difficulty of choosing a winner in the matches between Newcastle and Brighton, Norwich and Brentford and Wolves versus Crystal Palace.
