Midtjylland vs Viborg – Both Teams to Score
Midtjylland will look to, at least temporarily, go level on points with København at the top of the Danish Superliga, as they host Viborg at the MCH Arena.
Bo Henriksen’s hosts don’t come into this in great form however, with them failing to win any of their last five in the league, as well as crashing out of the Conference League to Greek side PAOK last week.
Viborg were beaten by København last time out, however that was just their second defeat in 11 in the league, with The Greens winning each of their last three away from home.
Viborg have scored in all nine of their matches away from home and I fancy them to get on the scoresheet against a Midtjylland side without a clean sheet in their last eight in the league, Midtjylland rarely fail to score, therefore both teams to score is the play here.
Excelsior to Score 2+
Excelsior will look to strengthen their position in the playoffs, as they host out-of-form Den Bosch in Rotterdam.
Excelsior come into this I’m good form, winning each of their last three, whilst their opponents are quite the opposite, losing nine of their last 11 (W0-D2-L9).
The major problem for Den Bosch is the amount of goals they are conceding, with only four sides in the division having conceded more than their tally of 48.
Excelsior have scored on multiple occasions in 10 of their last 12 matches at home and look a good bet to do the same here against a Den Bosch side that’s conceded two or more in 10 of their last 12 matches away from home.
Eindhoven to Score 2+
Eindhoven will also look to strengthen their position in the playoffs, as they travel to the SolarUnie Stadion to take on Helmond Sport.
Eindhoven have been in superb form in recent weeks, with Rob Penders side winning each of their last six, scoring 16 goals in the process.
Helmond Sport shocked 2nd-placed Emmen on Tuesday with a 1-2 win, but that was just their second victory in their last 17 in the league (W2-D6-L9).
Helmond have conceded on multiple occasions in six of their last seven matches at home and there’s a good chance they’ll do the same here against their in-form visitors.
Roda JC vs Dordrecht – Over 2.5 Goals
Two sides in decent form go head-to-head at the Parkstad Limburg Stadion, as 8th-placed Roda JC host 18th-placed Dordrecht.
Roda lost 2-0 away to 3rd-placed Excelsior last time out but that was their first defeat in 12 in the league, whilst Jan Zoutman’s visitors have lost just one of their last eight (W4-D3-L1).
Dordrecht have found the back of the net in 16 of their last 17 matches in the league, scoring on multiple occasions in each of their last seven and will be confident of breaching a Roda defence that’s conceded in each of their last four.
Dordrecht do have the worst defensive record in the Eerste Divisie and with 36 of the 59 goals they’ve conceded coming away from home, Roda should contribute to the scoring in what should be a high scoring game.
