Invictus Gaming have managed only one win this season (1-4), which isn’t great, but they showed some good qualities last month. Jungler Peng “XUN” Li-Xun has looked good, and we can’t overlook mid laner Liu “Xzz” Zhu, who can hold his own thanks to his deep champions pool. The rest of the team is decent, so Invictus Gaming have some upside, but we don’t expect them to finish better than mid-table.
Rare Atom are 1-3, with defeats against LNG Esports, Victory Five, and Bilibili Gaming, and one win against Top Esports. It’s hard to judge a team after seeing them play only four matches, but Rare Atom have yet to impress us.
Jungler Lu “Leyan” Jue is possibly the only good player on the team, while his teammates are mediocre at best. Admittedly, ADC Hu “iBoy” Xian-Zhao is held in high regard, but he is not a player who will carry his team.
Rare Atom seem slightly stronger on paper, but they don’t deserve to be $1.45 favourites. This is a 60/40 match in our book, making Invictus Gaming an excellent bet at $2.66.

Team WE have yet to find any traction, and their 0-4 record hardly inspires any confidence. But once jungler Jiang “beishang” Zhi-Peng returns to the active lineup, WE should be much more competitive, so we would not write them off entirely just yet.
Their next opponents, JD Gaming, are 2-2 after the first three weeks of the season, with wins against LGD Gaming and FunPlus Phoenix and two losses against LPL’s top dogs in Royal Never Give Up and EDward Gaming. From what we have seen from JDG over the last month, they will be a competitive mid-table team that should do fine against bottom teams; however, they’re not serious candidates for the LPL title.
We prefer JD Gaming for this match, but not enough to bet on them at $1.34, nor do we believe JDG can defeat Team WE without dropping a map. You should preferably wait until Team WE announce the roster for this match, and if beishang is in the squad, a smaller position on WE is worth a look. But for now, we’re siding with the underdogs to win at least one map.
