View our expert’s Goals Accumulator Tips & Predictions for Thursday which features three sides to score 2+ goals and one to score 3+.
Our Goals Acca Tips are based on statistical analysis of recent performances.
Antwerp to Score 2+
Antwerp will be looking to collect all three points and leapfrog Anderlecht into 3rd as they take on Eupen at the Bosuilstadion.
Antwerp conceded late on twice last time out to lose at home to Standard Liege in what was their first home defeat in seven, a run that saw them win five of them.
Eupen defeated basement boys Beerschot Wilrijk 1-0 last time out but that was their first league victory in eight matches.
Antwerp have scored 2+ in six of their nine matches at home in the league, including in each of their last three and there’s a good chance they’ll do the same here against a Eupen side that have lost each of their last four away, conceding eight.
Chelsea to Score 2+
Chelsea will look to keep pace with league leaders Manchester City as they take on a severely out of form Everton side at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea bounced back from a 3-2 defeat to West Ham, by being on the right side of a 3-2 score line on Saturday against Leeds United.
Pressure keeps on mounting at Everton for Rafa Benitez as his side lost again at the weekend, meaning they’ve not lost seven of their last nine in the Premier League, winning just once.
Everton have conceded 15 goals away from home this season, with nine of them coming in their last four and I can see them conceding at least twice against a Chelsea side that’s already scored 21 goals in their eight home fixtures.
Liverpool to Score 3+
Liverpool will look to go within one point of league leaders Manchester City, as they take on a struggling Newcastle United at Anfield.
After suffering their first defeat of the season away to West Ham, the Reds have bounced back by winning each of their last five games in the Premier League.
Eddie Howe finally got his and Newcastle’s first win at home to Burnley, but the Geordie’s were brought back down to earth last time out, as they were thumped 4-0 by Leicester City.
Liverpool may have won each of their last two league games 1-0 against stuffy opposition, but they remain the leagues top scorers with 45 and there’s a good chance they’ll score at least three against a Newcastle side still winless on the road.
Charleroi to Score 2+
Charleroi will be looking to heap more misery on Genk and collect all three points with a victory possibly lifting them into 3rd place.
Charleroi come into this in fairly decent form, winning six of their last eight in the league, as well as three of their last four, with their sole defeat coming away to league leaders Union St Gilloise.
As for Genk, not only were they dumped out of Europe, they lie 11th in the table and have won just once in their last nine in the leagues, as well as losing three of their last four.
Only Union St Gilloise have scored more than Charleroi’s tally of 19 away from home and with them scoring 2+ in 7/9 of them, there’s every chance they’ll find the back of the net at least twice against this poor, out of form Genk side.
