Mlada Boleslav to Score 2+
No sides games have averaged more goals at home in the Czech League this season than Mlada Boleslav’s, with them averaging a staggering 4.71 per game.
Of the 33 goals scored, Mlada Boleslav have scored 19 of them and have scored at least three times in six of those seven matches, with only champions Slavia Prague shutting them out.
Zlín are actually unbeaten in their last three, keeping clean sheets in each of them but prior to that they had five matches in a row, conceding 16 goals.
Zlín have shipped 2+ goals in four of their six away matches and with Mlada Boleslav banging the goals in on home turf, I’m backing them to score at least twice here.
PSV vs Vitesse – Over 2.5 Goals
PSV face European regulars Vitesse at the Phillips Stadion and know a win will see them go top of the Eredivisie and three points clear of champions Ajax.
The boys from Eindhoven have won five of their six home matches in the Eredivisie, scoring 19 goals, but have yet to keep sheet and have conceded on 11 occasions.
Vitesse come into this in decent domestic form, losing just one of their last seven Eredivisie matches, winning five of them.
All six of PSV’s home matches in the Eredivisie have seen at least three strikes and with Vitesse scoring in each of their last nine league matches, I’m expecting them to contribute in a high scoring match.
Lazio vs Juventus – Both Teams to Score
Two sides who’ve been plagued by inconsistency so far this Campaign meet at the Stadio Olimpico as 5th placed Lazio host 8th placed Juventus.
Lazio have taken seven points from their last three Serie A matches and still remain unbeaten at home this season, winning five of their six matches, scoring a total of 18 goals.
Juventus secured their first win in four Serie A matches last time out as a stoppage time Juan Cuadrado goal defeated Fiorentina 1-0 at the Allianz Stadium.
Both of these sides have scored in 21/24 of their combined Serie A matches this season and with both sides far from tight at the back, I’m expecting both sides to score in Rome.
Fiorentina vs AC Milan – Both Teams to Score
Serie A high flyers AC Milan head to the Stadio Artemio Franchi knowing if they avoid defeat they will leapfrog Napoli at the top of Serie A at least temporarily.
Milan drew 1-1 with rivals Inter last time out to end their run of seven successive victories in the league but it kept them seven points above the champions.
Fiorentina have won each of their last two matches 3-0 at home to both Spezia and Cagliari and have scored in all five matches at the Artemio Franchi.
Whilst AC have won six of their last seven league matches, they’ve also conceding in six of those and I can see them conceding once more against a Fiorentina side who do their best work at home. That should lead us to both sides scoring.
