IT was quite a night at Hampden as Scotland took a massive step towards the World Cup Finals Play-Offs.
Scott McTominey’s 94th minute winner sent the Tartan Army in to raptures and helped us land yesterday’s Super Single, Scotland to win by a one goal margin at 5/2.
KevMac went two better, serving up three winning Super Singles in the match, One-goal winning margin (5/4), BTTS (11/10) Nir Bitton carded (9/2).
Mark Walker also scored a full house in his Scotland v Israel preview, tipping Scotland to win (1/1), Scotland to win & BTTS (19/5) and Israeli Zahavi to score (11/4).
Tolu managed the same in the Sweden v Kosovo match preview, nailing all three tips, Sweden clean sheet (10/11), Sweden to win to nil (6/5) and Sweden -2 (11/4.
Despite the lack of domestic action Desmond also managed to deliver two winning doubles. Both his Team Total Goals and Both Teams to Score Doubles won at around the 5/2 mark each.
Hats off too to our debutant racing tipster Cairnzy who’s headline tip won having been tipped at 4/1 as did Rizzel’s main bet, Good to Laugh, which he tipped at 6/4 last night.
Well done to our team and everyone that posted a winner yesterday!
UEFA Nations League
The Nations League served up some brilliant entertainment in midweek, let’s hope we get another couple of cracking games today.
Spain and France dish up the main course at 7.45 but there’s a tasty looking starter in the afternoon when Italy and Belgium will try to salvage a 3rd place finish.
The Italians would have been expecting to be in Milan tonight but they’ll still enjoy home advantage in Turin at the Juventus Stadium. Their 37 game unbeaten run was ended by Spain so Roberto Mancini will need to pick them up and go again.
Opponents Belgium faded badly in the second half against France and must be deflated after losing 3-2 having been two goals up at half-time.
Italy let us down in midweek and can be backed at 11/10 with SBK to recover some pride with a win. Belgium are as big as 14/5 at Skybet.
Seven yellow cards were dished out in Italy’s semi-final v Spain and tonight’s referee Srđan Jovanović (Serbia) is no stranger to a card so, although this is not much more than a glorified friendly, the 5/4 on there being Over 3.5 Cards could pay.
World cup holders France are favourites to lift the trophy at 3/4, ahead of Spain at Evens. The French looked dead and buried at half-time on Thursday but found a way to get back in to the game an win it in the dying minutes with goals coming from Benzema, Mbappe and Hernandez.
That mutiple goal threat gives France the edge over Spain, who played some beautiful football in their win over Italy, and draws us towards the 8/5 on a French win for Sunday’s Super Single.
Spain were brilliant at times in midweek but looked vulnerable when Italy got up a head of steam with their 10 men. If France’s key players turn up they could overpower Luis Enrique’s side.

- France to win 8/5 (SBK)

Golf Tips
All our hopes are riding on Adri Arnaus at the Open de Espana on Sunday. He goes in to the final round in T2nd, two shots behind fellow Spaniard, Rafa Cabrera-Bello, and is now 3/1 second favourite to win after being tipped at 35/1 by The Caddy pre-tournament.
In Las Vegas Sam Burns leads the way (at the time of writing) and is looking good for a second consecutive win on the PGA Tour and for The Caddy who tipped him at 22/1.
Good luck on Sunday if you’re on The Caddy’s tips this weekends.
