Team Vitality and Bad News Bears will clash in the second round of ESL Pro League Season 14 group stage play. It will mark Vitality’s first meeting with Alan “Shakezullah” Hardeman and co. in their history, and it is one Mathieu “ZywOo” Herbaut and his crew are expected to win comfortably.
The Bees enter the ESL Pro League having won only four of their last seven games, two of which happened against much weaker opponents in Renegades (16-6) and amateur Saudi Arabian team 01 Esports (3-0). They have struggled to achieve much over the year and don’t seem as strong as they were in 2020.
On paper, Team Vitality are a much stronger team; however, their showings on the year have been mediocre, and it doesn’t help that this will be only their second match in over a month. The Bees should win, but there is value in backing the Bears at the map line.

ASTRALIS vs ENCE CS:GO BETTING & MATCH DETAILS |

CS:GO Betting Odds: | Astralis $1.55 at Betway | ENCE $2.35 at Betway |

Astralis last met with ENCE in November 2020, when they won 2-0; however, they were still playing with their old roster back then, while ENCE fielded an entirely different lineup.
The Finns rebuilt their roster in January 2021 but haven’t achieved much since. Although their record across the last three months is solid (73.7% win rate), we have to keep in mind that most of their wins came against second-tier opponents.
Astralis enter ESL Pro League straight off a top-four finish at Intel Extreme Masters XVI Cologne, where they made it to the semi-finals and lost to G2 Esports (1-2). Before that, the Danes placed top 12 at IEM Summer and top six at the Flashpoint Season 3.
Astralis have not won a single tournament title in 2021, and it doesn’t seem like that will change anytime soon. Regardless, they’re still one of the top 10 CS:GO teams in the world, set to face a squad who aren’t used to playing top-tier teams.
Astralis to win
HEROIC vs TEAM SPIRIT CS:GO BETTING & MATCH DETAILS |
|
---|---|
CS:GO Betting Odds: | Heroic $1.69 at Betway | Spirit $2.08 at Betway |

Heroic enter this match as favourites, which doesn’t seem right. That’s not to say Team Spirit are a much better team, but we expected this match to be priced much closer to even money.
Team Spirit last met with the Danes at the start of July, when Heroic beat them 2-1 at Intel Extreme Masters XVI Cologne. Although Heroic deserved to win, Spirit still managed to steal one map (16-12 on Nuke) and even forced overtime in the final map of the series (19-22 on Ancient).
Based on what we saw in that match, there isn’t a lot to separate these two teams, and it’s not like Heroic achieved anything remarkable following that win, losing to Astralis (0-2) and FaZe Clan (1-2). We wouldn’t be surprised if Team Spirit edge out a win, but we like the over 2.5 maps better.
Over 2.5 maps
