After delivering odds-against 13/10 and 17/2 winners on Saturday, SlipsTips is back with a double ahead of Sunday’s round of Scottish Premiership fixtures.
Hibernian vs Ross County (Sunday, 15:00)
Hibernian will be aiming to make it two wins from two in the Scottish Premiership when they entertain Ross County at Easter Road on Sunday
Jack Ross’ team twice came from behind to bag a thrilling 3-2 opening day win at Motherwell last weekend.
Ross County, on the other hand, started their campaign with a scoreless draw after surviving a penalty scare against St Johnstone.
Malkay Mackay’s sides’ difficult opening stretch to the Scottish Premiership season continues this weekend and I fancy the Staggies to pick up at least a couple of cautions during this capital clash.
County clocked up four cards during their curtain-raiser and they may deploy the dark arts here in an attempt to tame the team who were the third-highest scorers in the top-flight last season.
With all that in mind, coupled with the hosts’ positive start to the season, I’ll back Ross County to collect 20+ booking points as the first half of my double.
Livingston vs Aberdeen (Sunday, 15:00)
Livingston play host to Aberdeen in their first home Scottish Premiership fixture of the season on Sunday.
I’ve already penned a separate match preview on this Tony Macaroni tussle but I’m also going to factor this dust-up into the second-half of my double.
The Lions were listless in their opening day 3-0 loss at Ibrox last weekend, while Aberdeen recorded a well-deserved 2-0 win over Dundee United.
New Dons boss Stephen Glass has generated a real sense of optimism in the Granite City and the Pittodire outfit will attract plenty of attention from punters on Sunday at quotes of 6/4 and better.
Indeed, those odds make appeal, but I’m going to complete my 13/10 (SkyBet) double by simply backing Aberdeen to score at least one goal in West Lothian.
The resurgent Reds, who will roared on by 900 traveling supporters, look to have rediscovered a goalscoring touch, while new-look Livi have posted just once clean sheet across their last 13 Scottish Premiership assignments.
Recommended Bet
- Ross County 20+ Booking Points
- 1+ Aberdeen Goal
- Double (13/10, SkyBet)
