Group A concludes with Switzerland and Turkey meeting in Baku and it could be an entertaining clash between nations that have so far disappointed at Euro 2020.
Switzerland need to win to stand any chance of progressing to the last 16 and are therefore likely to play on the front foot, while Baku will be full of Turkish supporters with up to 30,000 expected in the Olympic Stadium which should keep them motivated despite being virtually eliminated after two matches.
Both teams to score at 5/6 and over 2.5 goals at 4/5 both appeal as goal difference could be vital for the Swiss, as a number of other best third-placed teams can also reach four points.
Switzerland would hope to go through with a win, although nothing is certain and their 3-0 defeat to Italy means they are unlikely to finish in the top two so a waiting game will be the order of the day for Vladimir Petkovic’s side.
Turks Won’t Want to Get Stuffed Again
The Swiss are 4/6 favourites to win the game which isn’t a great price despite Turkey’s shocking tournament.
Turkey arrived as dark horses but a 3-0 defeat to Italy was followed by a 2-0 loss to Wales, meaning the pressure is now off Senol Gunes’s young team.
With expectations back at ground zero it could free them up.
Turkey have scored three against Germany, Russia, Croatia and Norway this season and four against Netherlands and have not become a terrible team overnight.
The Turks managed six shots on target against Wales and racked up ten corners which suggests going over 9.5 flag kicks at 1/1. Switzerland had 12 themselves against Wales and if the game is as open as it could be that may well lead to corners for both sides.
Given that Turkey are set to play their attacking part they may also be worth considering at 43/20 to win the race to three corners.
Turkey have also had two players carded in each of their opening two contests and over 1.5 team bookings could be another way to go.
Breel Can Give Punters a Thrill
