With eight Eliteserien games on Sunday off the back of a full round of games on Monday and Thursday, I might have to be thinking a little about rotation.
What I usually think happens is the bigger squads and stronger teams get an advantage, and as a result the third gameweek in seven days should provide us with some value.
Something to note is, in Norway so far this year, the favourites have generally been drifting in the lead up to kick off.
Rosenborg and Glimt are the two to watch in that regard this weekend. Glimt have opened at 1.66 away at Odd on Sunday at 5pm, and that is one I have my eye on.
Glimt are playing some really nice stuff, Odd are struggling to get going so far this season. In this fixture last year, Glimt won 0-4, and followed it up with a 6-1 home win. That was a better Odd team than this year, and therefore a Glimt win is really likely.
If the price drifts to 1.8 or better, I will definitely be having a single on the win. At the moment it is even money for Glimt to win and score 2+ goals, I wouldn’t bet against that given Glimt have scored at least two in all five games so far.
I also wouldn’t put anyone off backing the Rosenborg and Bodø/Glimt double. It was successful on thursday night and should be again.
Note though, it opened at 2.14 the double on Thursday, then went off at around 2.6, showing those price rises were significant and worth keeping an eye on.
Both Teams to Score Double
Two good attacking teams, relegated from Eliteserien last year, go head to head in the first division on Sunday as Start welcome Aalesund.
Aalesund have scored 5 conceded 5 in their first three games, while Start have scored 4 and conceded 5 in their first two games.
I expect there will be a goal each in that one at least priced at 1.57.
The second one to double up with it is Tromsø v Sarpsborg at 1.75. Tromsø have scored in four games in a row now, and in their two home games so far, have conceded 3 in each.
Sarpsborg are a good team who have missed chances in their games so far, but I think this matchup will suit them, and we should see a good game. The double pays 2.75.
