David De Gea was the fall guy for United in an incredible penalty shoot-out that saw 21 consecutive penalties scored, only the Spanish goalkeeper to see his spot kick saved by his counterpart Rulli.
Well done to SlipsTips who nailed all three tips in his Europa League final preview which included a booking for Capoue and a goal for Cavani who scored his eighth goal in his eleventh cup final.
The game may not have been a classic but hopefully we’ll see the same levels of drama in Saturday’s Champions League final.
Thursday looks like a quiet day with few matches however we do have a couple of match previews; one from the A-League featuring Macarthur Bulls and Central Coast Mariners which kicks-off at 10.05am, and another in the evening in France where Toulouse and Nantes play-off for a place in Ligue 1 next season.
