The opener is a trappy event in which the sextet all have plenty scope better things. Malhoob did plenty wrong at Thirsk (1m, good to firm) four weeks ago but still managed to win.
He may need to settle better over this trip. Royal Ascot-entered DARAMETHOS made a winning start at Chelmsford in November and could improve plenty for last month’s Newmarket return.
John & Thady Gosden’s Sea The Stars colt gets the nod with James Doyle booked to ride.

6.25 – Equine Products In Dubai At shaklanvet.com Handicap (1m2f)
Hat-trick seeking Briardale cannot be discounted as he looks to confirm last-time-out superiority over Majalaat. They are both players, joining the likes of Polar Cloud and Helian, but MR COCO BEAN gets the nod.
He returned to winning way on grass at Haydock last month over a similar trip and he was twice in the frame here last season from a higher mark than this one. He’s got a solid chance.

6.55 – Equine Products Founder Michael Reay Novice Stakes (1m2f)
Four of these have already tasted success in Nagano, Onesmoothoperator, Regal Vega and PETER THE GREAT – a quartet of three-year-olds receiving weight from their elders now.
The last-named had Nagano behind in third when scoring a shade cosily at Newmarket (1m, good to firm) in the Wood Ditton last month and the re-opposing rival is one two next-time-out winners to advertise that form.
The New Approach colt looks a certain improver for Team Gosden and can make it 2-2.

7.25 – Equine Products Celebrating 40-Years In Business EBF Novice Stakes (5f)
Big Boy Harley kicked off his career with a silver medal at Musselburgh (5f, good) late last month and should have a leading say switched to Tapeta, but there are dangers lurking amongst the newcomers here.
Perfect Power and Royal Emerther demand scrutiny but No Nay Never colt DHABAB cost £200,000 and is bred for speed.
His training team often introduce a smart one on this track and he could be the latest from Clarehaven to get off to a flyer here. Andrew Balding’s Robasta should have place claims too.

7.55 – Equine Products In Qatar At aldousarivet.com Handicap (1m)
TINKER BOY recorded successes at Salisbury and Doncaster last summer on his first two starts before finishing a close third on handicap bow at Town Moor in August.
He’s probably a good deal better than he showed in that race and the War Front colt makes his return here ahead of a possible Royal Ascot tilt next month.
Home Before Dusk knows where the winning line is here (three C&D wins) while Thibaan may soon improve for Sir Michael Stoute in the Shadwell silks.

8.25 – Equine Products In Saudi Arabia At Ramz-Al-Sharq Handicap (1m)
Having looked in trouble a quarter-of-a-mile from home here last month, VIVA VOCE rattled home fast to be a one-length third at the line behind an all-the-way winner.
David Barron’s gelding looks on that evidence to be ready for this initial crack at a mile trip and – only 1lb higher – should be right in the firing line in a competitive handicap.
Thaayer won over C&D recently and joins previous track and trip winners Rocket Dancer and Exhalation as dangers.

8.55 – Equine Products In Newmarket At Horse Requisites Handicap (6f)
Hail Sezer has improved with each run on turf and his most recent Wetherby second is solid form. If he copes with this surface he’s got excellent credentials.
This is a wide open finale by any standards and perhaps champion jockey Oisin Murphy will help CONFRONTATIONAL get his head in front.
Chester in 2019 was his most recent success, but there’s been more than one indication in 2021 that he’s going to take advantage of a declining mark before too long.
It’s a while since he’s tried 6f on the all-weather and he could do well at an each-way price.
