Werder Bremen v Leipzig
Leipzig’s title bid all but ended with defeat to leaders Bayern Munich last weekend but they remain on course for their highest ever finish by taking the runners-up spot.
Julian Nagelsmann’s side are currently three points clear of Wolfsburg and head to Bremen with the joint best defensive record in the league having conceded just 22 goals in 27 games.
On their travels Leipzig have been excellent, winning the last four on the spin while keeping a clean sheet each time.
Werder set up a German Cup meeting with Leipzig by defeating lower-league Jahn Regensburg in midweek, but have lost three in a row in the Bundesliga as well as the last three head-to-heads. Back the visitors and under 4.5 goals at 3-4 with Betway.
AZ v Sparta Rotterdam
AZ are battling for second place in the Eredivisie and can enhance their case at home to improving Sparta.
The hosts, trailing PSV on goal difference with Ajax out of sight at the top, are in good fettle with seven wins from eight including four successive home victories.
Sparta have climbed to mid-table with a fine five-game unbeaten run but haven’t won in a dozen trips to AZ, losing 10 of those, and the hosts and over 1.5 goals at 7-10 with Betway is the call.
Altach v St Polten
With the Austrian Bundesliga having split in two, Altach can get their first win of the bottom six after a tough opening tussle at Austria Vienna ended in a 2-0 defeat last week.
Prior to that, Altach finished the regular season in decent shape with three wins from four, including a 1-0 success at Saturday’s opponents St Polten.
St Polten’s slump continued with a 1-0 home loss to Admira las weekend, meaning they have taken one point from the last 15, and I’m backing Altach at 11-10 with Unibet to edge this one.
Euro Treble
- Leipzig win & under 4.5 goals (2.30pm)
- AZ win & over 1.5 goals (7pm)
- Altach (4pm)
- (5-1, Betway)
