West Ham United will look to move back into the top five in the Premier League when they do battle with Wolves at Molineux on Monday evening.
The two sides play their first game since the first international break of the year came to an end, while Everton and Crystal Palace will also square off in what is a busy day in the English top flight.
Close game Expected at Molineux
West Ham have silenced all of their doubters so far this season and they can put pressure on their rivals with three points on Monday.
Both Tottenham and Liverpool climbed above David Moyes’ side over the weekend, with Spurs being held to a 2-2 draw against Newcastle United, while Liverpool proved too good for Arsenal.
The Irons come into the game on the back of a 3-3 draw against Arsenal, and they have not won in the top-flight since March 8th, when they battled past Leeds United.
On the road, they have not won in four, while Wolves’ form is not much better. Nuno Espirito Santo’s troops are without a win four and, like West Ham, their last win came against Leeds.
At home, Wolves have only won one of their previous four and Monday’s game is set to go down to the wire.
While West Ham won the last meeting 4-0, under 2.5 goals has landed in five of the previous seven meetings and, with confidence low in both camps, it seems a sensible bet at 5/8.
Toffees to Return to Winning Ways
Everton’s European hopes are hanging by a thread after back-to-back defeats in the Premier League.
Both Chelsea and Burnley got the better of Carlo Ancelotti’s side, while Manchester City knocked them out of the FA Cup last month.
Everton need to rediscover their best form after three defeats on the spin, but they will still fancy their chances when they welcome Crystal Palace to Goodison Park.
Palace’s form has improved of late, with Roy Hodgson’s side only losing one in five. Their return on the road is not as good, though, with the Eagles only winning two of their previous nine away from Selhurst Park.
The head-to-head record is also firmly in Everton’s favour, with the Toffees unbeaten in their last 12 Premier League meetings with Palace.
They are looking for their first league double over Palace since the 2004-05 campaign, while Hodgson has also struggled at the iconic Merseyside ground.
He has never guided any of his teams to an away win in the league against Everton, losing eight of his previous nine trips to Goodison.
Everton look a reasonable price to win at odds of 5/6, and they could rack up the goals, with Palace having kept just one clean sheet in their last 18 Premier League away games.
