“They’ll be dancing in the streets of Skopje tonight”…and tomorrow… and for a good while yet after North Macedonia stunned Germany in Wednesday’s World Cup qualifier in one of the biggest shock results in international football in many a year.
Joachim Löw has already signalled his intent to leave his post after Euro 2020 but his departure may be hastened after that result, Germany’s first defeat in a World Cup qualifier since England beat them 5-1 in 2001.
In another surprise result, Scotland scored four without replay against the Faroe Islands 🙃! It was a welcome result for Steve Clarke’s men who are now second in Group F 💪, behind favourites Denmark.
Harry Maguire’s late winner made it three wins form three for England who look likely to cruise through another qualifying group, while Northern Ireland were held to a 0-0 draw with Bulgaria.
The good news is that we can now put international football to bed until the build up to the serious business of Euro 2020 begins.

Golf Tips: Valero Open & US Masters Build-Up
The Masters is just over a week away and The Caddy sets the scene on who could be in contention at Augusta in this year’s first major. He’ll be covering the tournament in detail next week but in the meantime you can join the debate on who’s like to be rocking the green jacket by the end of next weekend.
Before that most of the big hitters will compete at the Valero Texas Open this weekend and The Caddy has opted for local resident Abraham Ancer at 25/1 as headline pick of three.
Good luck with all your bets on Thursday!
