SlipsTips takes a look at the Bet Builder market ahead of Real Betis’ meeting with Getafe in La Liga on Friday night.
Real Betis vs Getafe (Friday, 20:00)
Real Betis have been a resurgent force under Manuel Pellegrini and they will fancy their chances of landing another three points when they face Getafe on Friday night.
The Green-and-Whites will be buoyed by their 2-1 victory at Villarreal last Sunday, a result that has put Betis firmly in the mix for a European berth.
What’s more, it’s now just one defeat in seven for Pellegrini’s men, while Getafe arrive in Seville in the midst of a three-match losing streak in La Liga.
Jose Bordalas’ side have punched above their weight in recent seasons but the Azulones are enduring an underwhelming campaign this time around and go into this clash lying 14th in La Liga and just three points above the relegation zone.
I was therefore pleasantly surprised to see Real Betis are trading at even-money and better to make it back-to-back wins this weekend, however, I’m going to swerve the match result market and instead head to Bet 365‘s Bet Builder.
If we combine over zero Real Betis goals, over two Real Betis corners and over one Getafe card we can get some 5/6 (Bet 365) and that makes appeal.
Real Betis have scored in 15 of their last 16 matches across all competitions and they will be coming up against a confidence-stricken Getafe side who have kept just two clean sheets across their last 11 outings.
With that in mind, coupled with the fact that Betis have made the net bulge twice in five of their last six La Liga assignments, I fancy the Seville-based outfit to strike on Friday night.
Given that Real Betis are averaging 4.73 corners per game this season – the sixth-highest tally in La Liga – I’ll also back Pellegrini’s crew to hit over two corners.
I’ll complete the Bet Builder by adding over one Getafe card – Bordalas’s battle-hardened warriors are averaging 3.43 yellows per game this season – the highest tally in the division by some distance – and when digging a bit deeper it can be seen that Getafe have received at least two bookings in 22/23 La Liga fixtures this season.
Referee Javier Estrada Fernandez is averaging just 3.71 yellow cards per 90 minutes this season but it’s worth noting that the above-mentioned combination has clicked in six of Getafe’s last 10 Spanish top-flight tussles.
Recommended Bet
- Over 0 Real Betis Goals, Over 2 Real Betis Corners & Over 1 Getafe Card – Bet Builder – 5/6 (Bet 365)
