Burnley vs Aston Villa (Wednesday, 18:00)
There will be clash of styles in the Premier League on Wednesday night when Burnley welcome Aston Villa to Turf Moor.
Sean Dyche’s side endured a slow start to the season, however, the Lancashire outfit have started to look like their old selves of late, and last time out they stunned Liverpool with a 1-0 win at Anfield.
Aston Villa, meanwhile, have been mighty impressive this season and head into this clash on the back of a 2-0 win over Newcastle, on a night where one of my recommended bets landed.
Dean Smith’s side currently occupy a place in the top-seven of the Premier League and they will attract plenty of attention from punters here at widely available quotes of even-money.
However, I’m going to steer clear of the outright betting and head to Bet 365‘s Bet Builder market to put together a same game multiple.
The 20/21 combination that makes appeal here is under four match goals, over zero Burnley cards, over one match card and over three Aston Villa corners.
Eight of Burnley’s last nine Premier League fixtures have featured less than three goals, while Aston Villa boast the second-best defensive record in the Premier League this season.
With that in mind, I’m happy to proceed with under four match goals at Turf Moor, but I’ll also throw in some cards to bring up the price of the Bet Builder.
Burnley are averaging 1.33 cautions per game this season, however, they will be coming up against an Aston Villa side who are currently the most-fouled team in the Premier League, not to mention their talisman Jack Grealish is the most-fouled player in the division.
