The FA Cup is back in all its splendour this weekend and, along with a host of EFL action and an even bigger wave of European domestic competition, it makes for an exciting fixture list.
With such a burgeoning schedule it can be difficult to pick out the best value, but that’s what we’re here for! FST’s expert analysts have teamed up with Mark Langdon, Dan Childs and James Milton to bring you our best bets for Saturday.

Roma vs Spezia – both teams to score at 4/6
Roma lost 4-2 in the Coppa Italia to Spezia in midweek and this clash is likely to deliver goals as well. Spezia come here having scored in nine of their last 10 away trips in all competitions. They’ve also notched in 78% of their league games since gaining promotion to Serie A.
Roma have been high scoring this term, with 37 goals in their first 18 games of the season. They’ve also hit 29 of those in their 10 clashes with sides from 10th and below, which should worry Spezia. Given that both teams have scored in four of Roma’s last five at home, BTTS looks like a good bet in this one.

Rangers vs Ross County – Rangers to win to nil at 4/5
Rangers dropped points for just the third time this season in their stalemate at Fir Park last weekend but we can expect to see a response from the runaway Scottish Premiership leaders here.
They have conceded just seven league goals all season and, quite remarkably, Steven Gerrard’s side have won to nil in ten of their 11 league games at the Ibrox. Ross County did shock Aberdeen last time out, but the visitors have still lost seven of their last eight on the road and have failed to score in four of them.

Aston Villa vs Newcastle – Aston Villa to win and under 2.5 goals at 3/1
Still smarting from back-to-back defeats against the Manchester giants, Villa need a win to climb back into the Premier League’s top half, and the Villains should be able to restraighten their path with a victory against Steve Bruce’s struggling Newcastle
With star attacking duo Ollie Watkins and Jack Grealish in the midst of dry spells, a glut of goals for the hosts looks unlikely however, and Villa might have to work hard to break down a stubborn and defensive Magpies outfit.

Wigan vs Fleetwood Town – Fleetwood Town to win at 19/20
Fleetwood have suffered back-to-back League One defeats but can bounce back by defeating relegation-threatened Wigan at the DW Stadium.
The Cod Army have lost one of four away league games and should have too much knowhow for the cash-strapped Latics, who have a very young squad following the January departures of their former loan contingent (Matt Palmer, Tom James, Curtis Tilt and Darnell Johnson) and the loss of key utility man Kal Naismith, who made a permanent switch to Luton.

Sunderland vs Shrewsbury – Sunderland to win at 8/11
Sunderland have been dodgy at home with no win in six at the Stadium of Light but they have a strong team at this level and manager Lee Johnson will get it right eventually.
Plymouth scored twice from just three shots in their 2-1 win over Sunderland in midweek and that short of bad fortune is unlikely to continue for too much longer.
Shrewsbury have been hurt by illness and manager Steve Cotterill remains away from the club as he recovers with the club having played just one match this year.

Crewe vs Wimbledon – Crewe to win at 4/6
Crewe needed an injury-time goal to win 2-1 away to Wimbledon just before Christmas but they should complete the double more comfortably this weekend.
The Railwaymen, promoted from League Two last season, are relishing the step up and have won five of their last six league games at Gresty Road.
Their in-form forwards should get plenty of opportunities against a Wimbledon defence who have conceded 23 goals in their last eight league matches.
