Inter Milan 8/15 (2.00pm)
Inter Put Crotone to the sword on Sunday to make it eight wins on the spin in Serie and there’s no reason why they won’t make it nine on the bounce at Sampdoria. With their great rivals AC at home to Juve later in the evening it’s a chance for Antonio Conte to go top of the table.
Samp’s record now reads just two wins in 10 and they’ve lost the last five meetings with Inter.
Atalanta v Parma – Over 2.5 Goals 4/11 (2.00pm)
Atalanta look they’re back to their goalscoring best hitting three, four and five in their last three matches at the Gewiss Stadium. Form would suggest they’ll be too good for sturggling Parma who are on a three game losing streak which has extended their winless run to six.
Parma have yet to keep a clean sheet on the but they have scored in six of their seven away from home so could contribute to the Over 2.5 line here.
Torino v Verona – Both Teams to Score 3/4 (2.00pm)
In a league where goes generally flow quite freely the chance to get even money on there being Over 2.5 Goals catches the eye.
Verona have been one of the dullest teams in Serie A so far. 30 total goals scored in their 15 games is the lowest tally in the league but it shoul be noted that Verona have still managed to score in 11 of those 15.
Then we have Torino who have scored 15 on their own – only teams in the top seven have scored more. Their goals against column is pretty grim too, 32 conceded is the second worst in the division.
Both teams to score has landed in eight of Torino’s last nine and in five of Verona’s last six so each team to score here just edges it.
Lyon win & Over 1 Lyon Goal 4/6 (7.00pm)
French Ligue 1 returns from it’s mini-break and Lyon will be aiming to pick up where they left off pre-Christmas and stay ahead of the chasing pack. They’re 14 without defeat in France’s top flight and lead Lille by a single goal.
Opponents Lens will be no pushovers though. They’ve won four away from home including good wins at Monaco and Rennes. Lyon are short enough at 2/5 but they may need to score more than once to secure the three points here so back them to also score two or more, something they’ve done in eight of their 10 wins.
