The Leicester City fan was quick off the mark following Southampton’s 1-0 win over Liverpool, a result that left Saints boss Ralph Hasenhüttl more than a little emotional on the touchline – as if there weren’t enough tiers in England at the moment!
That’s just two wins in six for the Reds who have opened the door for the chasing pack to close the gap in recent weeks and in Manchester United’s case to overtake them at the top. This year’s Premier League title race could be the most exciting in years.
Tuesday’s Tips
Attention turns to the Carabao Cup with the winners of Wednesday’s Manchester Derby lying in wait for the victors of Tuesday tie between Spurs and Brentford.
The Bees have been going well in the Championship where they’re unbeaten in 16 and there’s no doubt Jose Mourinho will be taking this one seriously stating, “Of course we always have important matches… but I would say a semi-final is always a very important match. The only one more important is a final.”
