REAL MADRID are playing catch-up in the title race when they face city rivals and La Liga table-toppers in the derby on Saturday night.
Zinedine Zidane’s men are six points behind having played a game fewer and have been wildly inconsistent this season.
But they seem to rise to the occasion when the pressure is really on and have shown guts on the last week, following up a domestic win at Sevilla by beating Borussia Monchengladbach at home to reach the Champions League last 16.
Atletico sealed their place with a not entirely convincing victory at Salzburg and have been solid rather than spectacular this season.
They haven’t won any of the last nine derbies and I’m backing that to continue, with Real a tempting choice at 13-19 in the draw no bet market.
Monchengladbach, meanwhile, qualified for the Champions League last 16 as runners-up to Real and resume Bundesliga business at home to Hertha Berlin on Saturday.
Before losing to the Spaniards, Gladbach had netted 2+ in five of their last six games across all competitions and same again pays 8-11 at Bet365.
Staying in the Bundesliga, back Leipzig and over 1.5 goals at 8-15 with Betway for the visit of Werder Bremen.
Leipzig have won all eight home games this season and each of them have featured at least two goals.
Euro Treble
- Borussia Monchengladbach to score 2+ (2.30pm)
- Leipzig win & over 1.5 goals (2.30pm)
- Real Madrid (8pm)
- (3.2-1, Genting Bet)
