Fulham vs Crystal Palace
FST Predicts: 1-0 Crystal Palace
Saturday’s Premier League tussle at Craven Cottage pits a Fulham team that failed to score in three of their last four competitive matches against a Palace side that scored just once from open play in their last three Premier League assignments.
Few goals should be expected in this London derby then, though the Eagles’ superior counter-punching ability could see them land a single knock-out blow.
Norwich City vs Wycombe Wanderers
FST Predicts: 2-0 Norwich City
Norwich City are on the rise after successive wins to nil, and the Canaries have a huge opportunity to push their winning streak to three games with a home fixture against second from bottom Wycombe.
Wanderers have lost each of their six Championship contests so far this term, and having conceded twice in three of their most recent four reverses, a similar margin of defeat looks likely at Carrow Road.
Stoke City vs Brentford
FST Predicts: 1-1 Draw
Stoke City have yet to find form on their own patch, and having shared the spoils with the last two teams to visit the bet365 Stadium, a third stalemate on the trot looks possible against Brentford.
The Potters and the Bees have generally been well-matched in recent seasons, and two of the last four Championship skirmishes between the teams ended all square (0-0, 1-1). Expect similar when they renew acquaintances on Saturday.
Cardiff City vs Middlesbrough
FST Predicts: 1-1 Draw
Cardiff, who have drawn two of their last three Championship fixtures, play host to a Middlesbrough team that took a point from three of their last five matches in Wales on Saturday.
Boro are short on goals this term, though they have leaned on some robust defending to spark a run of two games on the road without defeat. Neil Warnock’s men can take something from the game again at Cardiff, but don’t expect fireworks in the Welsh capital.
Coventry City vs Blackburn Rovers
FST Predicts: 1-1 Draw
Both Coventry and Blackburn are without a victory in four games ahead of their meeting on Saturday, and with confidence lacking on either side of the dividing line, these low on confidence teams will see a point as a useful haul.
Coventry scored exactly once in each of their last two games on their own patch, while Rovers notched just once goal in their last away test. A combination of recent results makes a 1-1 draw a likely outcome when the sides meet this weekend.
Sheffield Wednesday vs Luton Town
FST Predicts: 1-0 Sheffield Wednesday
Sheffield Wednesday continue to wrestle against their points deduction, though the Owls can chip away at their deficit with a victory at home to Luton Town on Saturday.
The toothless Hatters failed to score in three of their last four Championship matches and in four of their last five fixtures overall, and with their forwards horribly out of form, another blank looks possible at Hillsborough.
