IT’S day two Cheltenham but tonight all eyes tonight in the footballing world will be in Paisley as St Mirren and Hearts meet in a true relegation 6 pointer that neither side can afford to lose.
Picking a winner isn’t easy but there is mileage on the corners and cards market as I look to follow up on last nights 11/10 winning NAP as Dundee defeated Ayr to.
There’s also 7 matches from the Copa Libetedores later tonight and with some of South America’s biggest clubs at home against weaker oppostion we could see goals (18 scored last night in the 6 games).
St Mirren vs Hearts (KO 7.45pm)
Bottom side Hearts travel to fellow strugglers St Mirren in what is a massive game for both clubs. Hearts appear to be in better shape having defeated Hibs then followed that up with a 1-1 draw at home to Motherwell, however St Mirren come into this off the back of a 5-0 from Celtic
Its a really tough game to call – St Mirren are pretty solid defensively but don’t score many goals and I wouldn’t be surprised to few goals scored tonight.
Give the importance of this game to both sides aided by a near full house it should be a great atmosphere and i can see their being no shortage of cards shown.
The bookies are also in agreement with over 4.5 cards as short as 5/6 but i do like the look of both sides to receive 2+ cards and that pays 11/10 with Skybet.
St Mirren as I said are competitive at home and rack up their fair share of corners and its worth backing that here.
Recommended bets:
- Both sides 2+ cards
- 11/10 (Skbet) (NAP)
- St Mirren over 4.5 team corners
- 8/11 (Skybet)
- St Mirren over 5.5 team corners
- 11/8 (Skybet)
