RANGERS kept their Europa League hopes alive with a fantastic fightback to beat Braga but face an uphill task tonight.
Steven Gerrard’s men were down and out when they trailed 2-0 at Ibrox but flew out yesterday with a 3-2 advantage to defend.
It’s a precarious lead and I reckon they’ll be out if they don’t score twice.
Defensively there have been so many cracks and Gerrard’s side have conceded two at Hearts, Killie and St Johnstone in dropping eight points after the winter break.
Braga look much better than those teams and the loss of Alfredo Morelos through suspension makes things even tougher for the Scots.
Over 2.5 goals can be backed
I called the first leg wrong but I reckon Braga will qualify at 19-20 with William Hill but backing them to win on the night is marginally safer at 10-11 with Betfred.
It was an open game at Ibrox and I can’t see Gerrard even contemplating trying for a 0-0 draw with his defence so over 2.5 goals can be backed at evens with William Hill.
Florian Kamberi, who scored and made a difference at St Johnstone when he came on for the second half, will lead the line for Rangers and with the likes of Ryan Kent and Joe Aribo in support they could score to force their hosts to notch two. Braga to score 2+ pays 37-40 at BetVictor while both to score is 8-11 at McBookie.
With the Premiership gone Man City’s full focus is on a Champions League triumph but they travel to a Real Madrid side that’s lost one in 20. It’s tough to call and could be a draw with Real being rocked by Eden Hazard’s injury.
Juventus shouldn’t have any problems at an inconsistent Lyon and can be backed at evens with McBookie.
Daily Double
- Braga
- Juventus
- (14-5, McBookie)
