SPURS face an uphill task against RB Leipzig without star strikers Harry Kane and Son Heung-Min.
Son had netted in his last five games in the absence of Kane but fractured his arm against Aston Villa on Sunday.
That means Jose Mourinho has little options in attack and is likely to go with Brazilian Lucas Moura who was a hero of last season’s run to the Final.
Moura is 2-1 at Unibet to score but I’d rather be on Liverpool transfer target Timo Werner who is 6-5.
Werner hasn’t netted in five but has 26 for the season and will be out to impress suitors including Bayern Munich.
Leipzig remains second in the Bundesliga, one point behind Bayern, but have struggled after the winter break with one win in five.
However, without Kane and Son the status of favourites moves to the Germans. They are 9-5 at Sportingbet to win but on a treble, I’m taking Leipzig not to lose at 1-2 with Ladbrokes.
Tonight’s other tie sees Atalanta entertain Valencia and while it’s a tough tie to call there should be goals.
Atalanta are Serie A’s highest scorers with 63 while Valencia were unbeaten away in the group stage and could counter. Take over 2.5 goals at 1-2 with McBookie.
Killie face Aberdeen in the Scottish Cup tonight with the first tie ending 0-0 as did a league meeting at Pittodrie in August.
In fact, four of the last five at Rugby Park have gone under 2.5 goals and 2-5 under 3.5 is fine on a treble.
Recommended Bets
- Leipzig draw no bet
- Werner to score
- Atalanta v Valencia over 2.5 goals
