MONDAY’S are terrific days to follow goals and we have another opportunity to back goal kings Lommel in the Belgian Reserve league.
You should be well acquainted with Lommel by now having tipped them 4 times already this year and they continue to deliver an incredible number of goals in their matches.
Sint Truidense and Kortrijk have over the years also been good for goals and if its goals you are looking for then the Belgian Reserve League is where you need to go.
Would strongly advise anyone with to some free time to look into the Belgian and Dutch reserves games on a Monday
Westerlo Reserves vs Lommel Reserves (KO 7pm)
I’m running out of things to say about Lommel Reserves, they have been absolutely sensational to back for goals this season.
There has been 103 goals in their 18 league games which averages out at an incredible 5.7 goals per game. They are 13th of 16 teams in the league but despite their lowly position, are the leagues 3rd highest scores with 42 goals, sadly , defensively they are a shambles , conceding 61 goals which is the worst in the league by some distance.
Their last 10 games have ended 2-7 5-4 2-1 6-2 3-3 4-2 4-2 3-6 0-1 4-2 and with 12 of their 18 games seeing no fewer than 6 goals (6 with 8+ goals ) its easy to see why they are a firm favourite of mine.
On the road their goal per game is avg out at 6.3 goals with 24 conceded and 14 scored in just their last 5 – 38 goals in 5 games is just ridiculous and they host another side at the bottom end struggling.
Westerlo’s home form is a disgrace, played 9 lost 8 drawn 1 and they have conceded 3 or more in 5 of those games and with Lommel scoring and conceding at the rate they are, there’s a good chance we’ll see both sides score at least once.
Recommended Bet
- Over 1.5 first half goals
- 5/6 (Bet365) (NAP)
- Over 3.5 goals
- 4/5 (Inplay just after kick off)
- Over 4.5 goals
- 6/4 (Bet365)
One other games I’m looking at that’s worth backing for goals.
Sint Truidense Reserves vs Club Brugge Reserves (KO6.30pm)
The hosts are rooted to the bottom of the league with 12 defeats from their 14 games, shipping a whopping 54 goals (3.9 goals a game)
They’ve only failed to score in 2 of their 18 games in all competitions and they face a Brugge side who are fresh off the back of a fine 3-1 win away at leaders Anderlecht.
They’ve only played 9 games (7 went over 3.5) but they are one of the leagues better sides and should start climbing the table, starting tonight.
Sint Truidense did manage to score two goals at home to both Anderlecht and Gent and are more than capable of helping the goal line here.
Recommended Bets:
All 12 Belgian Reserve games over 2.5 is worth a few quid 35/1
