THE Premier League title race is over but the battle to beat the drop is fierce.
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has finally told fans to celebrate but for the likes of Norwich and Bournemouth the party could be over.
New managers have boosted the chances of Watford and West Ham and I fancy the Hornets to move even further clear of danger tonight.
Nigel Pearson’s side’s only defeat in nine came at Anfield and they travel to Aston Villa less than a month after thumping them 3-0 at home.
Watford are a best 11-8 with McBookie but on a treble I’m backing Watford not to lose at 23-50 with Marathonbet and interestingly they haven’t been beaten at Villa Park for 13 years.
Bournemouth are on a horror run and Saturday’s defeat at Norwich has left both clubs in the mire. Eddie Howe is unsackable so they can’t change manager and face a titanic tussle with south-coast rivals Brighton tonight.
The Seagulls are winless in four while the home men have lost four in a row.
Bournemouth have netted a shocking two goals in 10 and it’s clear confidence has hit rock bottom with players such as Josh King and David Brooks being badly missed and now skipper Steve Cook is suspended. Again Brighton not to lose looks the best bet at 23-50 with Marathonbet.
Arsenal don’t have many key men but skipper Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is one and he’s banned for the trip to Chelsea – a ground they haven’t triumphed on for nine years.
Chelsea could edge this at 4-5 with McBookie but to complete the treble I’m on Chelsea draw no bet at 3-10 with McBookie.
Man City dropped two points at home to Crystal Palace on Saturday and could fail to win again when they visit Sheffield United.
A game away to the Blades is as tough as it gets and I can see a scoring draw at 11-2 with BetVictor.
Crystal Palace v Southampton is another tight one and Saints will be suffering after throwing away a two-goal lead before losing at home to Wolves on Saturday.
Palace held City 2-2 away and Saints have been good on the road, beating Leicester at the King Power last time out, so best bet could be both to score at 19-20 with bet365.
And finally I’m on Everton to edge out a Newcastle side whose best work has been done at home. Again there won’t be a lot in this with Carlo Ancelotti’s side keeping it tight at the back. Everton beat Burnley 1-0 in their last home and could a similar scoreline to risk Everton and under 2.5 goals at 8-13 with Unibet.
