WE’RE almost getting back to normal and that could be good news for punters who have suffered a miserable January.
The Premier League returns with Sheffield United v West Ham and in Ligue 1 it’s Rennes v Marseille while Greg’s favourite Ligue 2 card is back.
There are also matches from Holland’s lower league so the promise of goals.
As usual I’ve got to focus on finishing my Saturday Daily Record write-ups before taking time out to look at Friday games.
The Blades are without a league win in three and face a Hammers side who have beaten Bournemouth and Gillingham in Davie Moyes’ first two matches. This is the Scot’s toughest assignment though and I’d imagine he’d take a draw right now.
Kevinmac has posted a Sheffield Utd vs West Ham preview so check it out and there are plenty of other big-match previews posted.
It’s third v second in Rennes and the possibility of goals with five out of Marseille’s last six seeing both scoring. Marseille like this venue with just one defeat in six visits.
Well done to all the winners last night including HullShaker, Greg and Scott with a well thought out members bet on Thomas to be booked in Atletico Madrid’s dramatic 3-2 Spanish Cup semi-final win against Barcelona.
I was working so never saw the game but it looked an action-packed cracker.
