THAT’S the FA Cup weekend over and now we move to the EFL Cup semi-finals.
First up is Man United v Man City with Leicester v Aston Villa tomorrow – and these remember are first-leg affairs.
I’ve got quite a bit riding on Leicester who I’m convinced will take care of Villa at home. Two parts of my Top Treble won last night – Arsenal and btts at Napoli – so a Leicester victory would give me a welcome 6.9pts win.
I also posted a Super Single on Leicester -1 so here’s hoping both land. Check out SlipTips’ Leicester vs Aston Villa match preview here.
The Manchester derby is tougher to call and goals could be the way to go. We don’t need to worry about team news as both will field their strongest line-ups but I’m finding it difficult to pick a winner. Kevinmac has had a go so check out his Man United vs Man City match preview here.
United will feel confident about facing their rivals after beating them 2-1 at the Etihad in the league but City are the better and more consistent team and will fancy a bit of revenge. I might put up a tip in the morning or even try a BetBuilder for low stakes.
Elsewhere there’s not much to look at with Doncaster vs Shrewsbury in League One and some EFL Trophy and National League games – I’ll rely on the likes of Greg and HullShaker for thoughts on these.
Well done to all the winners on a quiet Monday and good luck tonight.
