THE international break is well and truly over as we get back to league business in what I feel is always tough for punters especially in some of the less well know leagues.
With two weeks off, clubs can see players returning from injury, a change in fortunes etc so its a really tricky card tonight, hence my late post, however, I feel there’s a goals bet in France worth taking on.
This weekend Gambla Betting Podcast is also available to listen to as we talk about Hibs, Aberdeen, Leicester and goals in Norway.
Caen vs Le Man (KO 7pm)
These two strugglers will be looking to create a bit of daylight between themselves and the leagues bottom sides to prevent getting sucked in to an relegation battle already this early in the season.
Despite their lowly postion, both sides actually boast some really solid form with the hosts unbeaten in 6 scoring 14 goals (albeit 6 were scored in the cup) but confidence will be high and they’ll fancy their chances of continuing their good form against a Le Mans side who have found life in Ligue 2 difficult.
Its taken Le Man some time to settle this season but they too boost a solid run of results and are unbeaten in 5 which is a far cry from their opening 6 games that saw them lose 4 and ship 13 goals. 4 wins in 5 though is great going as they have progressed in both cups and seem to be moving in the right direction.
The bookies have priced this game up really high for goals but I think its worth backing especially given both sides are in good shape and Caen have found their shooting boots.
Couple of angles you can look at here in terms of markets. The Asian goal line over 2.0 goals looks a really good option at 5/6 but you are getting above 6/4 with Marathon bet which I also think is great value.
Given the form of both sides, I feel this could be more of an open match than the bookies think.
Recommended Bet:
- Over 2.0 Goals (Asian goal line)
- 5/6 (Bet365) (NAP)
Will also be on the usual over 0.5 first half goals and over 1.5 goals in France at 31/1 and 20/1
Dutch Eerste Divisie – total goals (10 matches 7pm)
10 matches from the Dutch second tier tonight and the goals total line is slightly lower than it has been in previous weeks.
The fixtures tonight look promising for goals and we can pretty much guarantee that at least 2 or three of them will see 5+ goals which should set us up nicely for the 34+ goals landing:
Recommended Bet:
- 34+ goals to be scored
- 5/6 (Skybet)
