SKYBET got it horribly wrong last night with the pricing of their total goals special last night so was great to take advantage of their generosity.
Tonight see’s another 8 qualifiers but its the u21 qualifiers that have caught my eye, in particular a rampant French side, whilst England look good to see off Albania
Selectbet and I have already recorded this weekends Gambla Betting podcast which you can listen to here – well worth a listen.
France u21 vs Georgia u21 (KO 8pm)
The young French kids have started their qualification in tremendous style with a 5-0 home win followed up with another 5 star show in a 3-5 away victory against Slovakia.
Celtic’s striker Odsonne Edouard has been in scintillating form this season for club and country and scored a brace followed by a hat-trick in those two wins in the last double header (5 goals in his first two appearances for his country) – you have to fear for Georgia against this rampant French attack.
That’s 17 goals now in 4 matches for the French and although Georgia have collected 2 wins from their opening 3 games, they lost 2-1 away in Switzerland, I can’t see them leaving here with anything.
In terms of the betting angle, had to dig deep to find value here with France being as short at 1/7 but I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw the price for Over 2.5 France goals . . . . .
8/11 for them to score 3 goals tonight IMO is a tremendous price – they are at home and scoring goals for fun, they should manage another 3 goals here.
Recommended Bet:
- France to score 3+ goals
- 8/11 (Bet365) (NAP) (NB)
