The Acca
I’ve had a good look at the fixtures and it doesn’t take a genius to figure that there are some matches that should see the big boys win.
- Holland – Northern Ireland are making another good fist of qualification in a tough group but this is must-win for Netherlands and they have the quality to break down Michael O’Neill’s side
- Russia – I hate to admit it but I’d probably back anyone at home against Scotland at the moment. Russia already won at Hampden in September and can do so again in Moscow.
- England – Virtually untouchable when it comes to qualification groups and should be too strong for Czech Republic.
- France – This could be a tricky trip for France but I’m backing them to put some daylight between themselves and Iceland with a win
- Italy – Six wins from six games so far for the Italians and they shouldn’t slip up at home to Greece.
- Spain – Likewise, Spain have made a flawless start to their campaign and can make it seven out of seven in Group with a win in Norway
