AFTER a profitable International break for punters its back to domestic business with plenty of matches to get stuck into, especially on the continent, with games from Austria, France and Holland.
As I have done so since the start of the season, it French Ligue I’ll be heading to and a side that I have backed a number of times already this season.
Table topping Le Havre, leD by striker in form Tino Kadewere host basement side Paris and there is no case to be made to oppose the hosts as they look to extend their lead at the top of the table.
Le Havre vs Paris (7pm)
What a start to the season its been for Paul La Guen’s side – 14 points from their opening 6 matches has taken them to the summit of Ligue 2 and today they host basement side Paris.
Ligue 2 is extremely competitive so it was no surprise to see the bookies price Le Havre up at a very generous 8/11 but what is surprising is the odds against price of Le Havre netting twice, especially with the leagues hottest striker in their ranks.
Tino Kadewere has already grabbed himself 9 goals this season ( a Ligue 2 record after 6 games) and with 5 of their 6 leagues games seeing Le Havre score at least 2 goals against some useful oppostion. questions haver to be asked why we are getting 6/5 on them to score 2 goals tonight against a side bottom of the league and who have conceded 11 goals
I’ve asked those questions and I see no reason not to take it on – initially I was worried Kadewere was suspended but he’s already served his one match ban for a red card against Troyes.
Prior to the international break I tipped Kadewere to fire Le Haver to the top, tonight I’m tipping him to help keep Le Havre there.
Le Havre are going to be a popular pick today and it’s always a slight concern when there is universal agreement about a match but I can’t find any reason to doubt this
Recommended Bet:
- Le Havre over 1.5 team goals
- 5/4 (Skybet) (NAP)
