AFTER a stormy summer Real Madrid enjoyed a calm start to the La Liga season last weekend and can keep it going tonight.
With Gareth Bale in from the cold to play a key role, Real won 3-1 at Celta Vigo despite having a man sent off.
Now they’re back at the Bernabeu where they’ve beaten today’s visitors Real Valladolid six times in a row. Five of those were by more than one goal and the hosts can again cover the -1 handicap.
In Germany, Augsburg and Union Berlin both suffered heavy opening-day defeats last weekend. Augsburg’s greater Bundesliga experience, though, can see them edge out the newly-promoted visitors this afternoon.
And in Austria, Wolfsberger can enhance their record of four wins from the last five home matches when they welcome an Altach side who’ve lost both away outings this season.
