I RESISTED the temptation to have a bet on Sunday and that was probably just as well.
The team that stood out for me were Anderlecht but they marked Vincent Kompany’s dugout debut with a shock 2-1 defeat at home to Oostende.
Interestingly all three Belgian games featured both scoring and it’s a decent league for goals and one worth watching.
Wasn’t too much going on Sunday but Scott’s member bet was a loser while macca was spot on with Napoli goals but was one short on his Nap as Liverpool were hammered 3-0 at Murrayfield.
Derby fan nathan tipped his side to lose to Rangers at 9-10 and that was another good call. Well done to all the winners.
We’re nearly there with the friendlies and after the midweek European games we’re straight into league action barring the Premier League and I for one am looking forward to getting back to normal.
On Monday there’s not much to look at barring some friendlies and league games dotted about here and there.
It will be a no-bet day for me as I take a look an early looks at Tuesday’s games that include Nomme Kalju v Celtic which of course is all over and a cracker between Basel and PSV with the Dutch leading 3-2.
